Reasons for the exchange of the certificate

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 322 of April 25, 2018 "On approval of the specimen, the technical description of the form and the Procedure for the issuance, issue, exchange, cancellation, transfer, withdrawal, return to the state, invalidation and destruction of the temporary residence permit":

The exchange of the certificate is carried out in the following cases:

1) changes in information entered into the certificate;

2) detecting an error in the information included in the certificate;

3) the expiration of the validity of the certificate;

4) the suitability of the certificate for further use.

In case of occurrence of circumstances (events) in connection with which the certificate is subject to exchange (except for the expiration of its validity), documents for its exchange shall be submitted within one month from the date of occurrence of such circumstances (events).

In case of expiration of the validity of the certificate documents for its exchange may be filed no later than 15 working days before the date of expiration of its validity. In such a case, the certificate to be exchanged, upon receipt of the documents, is returned to the person and appears to it at the time of receipt of the new posvidka.

Documents for registration of the certificate (including instead of the lost or stolen), its exchange shall be submitted to the state enterprise belonging to the management of the LCA, the center for the provision of administrative services (hereinafter referred to as an authorized entity) and territorial bodies / territorial units of the LCS at the place of residence foreigner or stateless person.

The decision on registration, the exchange of the certificate is taken by the territorial body / territorial subdivision of the LCA based on the results of identification of the foreigner or stateless person, verification of the documents submitted by them and in the absence of grounds for refusal in its registration.

 The certificate is issued within 15 working days from the date of acceptance of documents from a foreigner or stateless person.
