Central Interregional Department of DMS

After complaints from international and public organizations, citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons to the management of the DMS in Kyiv due to the incorrect organization of admission of documents, etc., the government has decided to combine the management of the DMS in Kyiv and the Kiev region and to create on their base the Central Interregional Department of DMS.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 12, 2009, No. 732 "On the reorganization of the territorial bodies of the State Migration Service, the Central Interregional Department of the DMS is established.

Adoption of the act will allow DMS to effectively fulfill the tasks entrusted to it as a central executive body that implements state policy in the areas of migration (immigration and emigration). It will also contribute to improving the quality of administrative services provided on the territory of the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv.
